Restaurants are facing increased costs, supply chain disruptions and wage hikes, and are looking for ways to increase revenue. Inflation is driving up the average price per item, while the number of items in bundles is decreasing as consumers try to save money.
To encourage guests to spend more, restaurants can offer incentives or discounts via direct mail, email, or push notifications. Consumers who use incentives tend to spend more and satisfaction scores are higher, as guests feel good about saving money.
