Maroun Ishac is a seasoned professional in Digital Out of Home (DOOH) and In-Store Retail Media, currently serving as the Head of Strategic Partnerships for Store as a Medium (SaaM) at Vericast. With a robust background in leading transformative industry initiatives, Maroun has significantly shaped the future of digital screens and retail engagement. His pioneering work includes establishing a visionary concept for SaaM, wherein physical stores become dynamic media hubs, enhancing consumer interaction through technological innovations.
Maroun’s career also involved heading the Digital Out of Home sector for Intel, where he has been instrumental in developing AI-aware advertising platforms that adapt to real-time contexts and audiences. His leadership extends to collaborative efforts with global industry partners, pushing the envelope in retail digital transformation.
Previously, Maroun founded Cedrus Networks in Dubai, focusing on wireless infrastructure for public safety and utilities. He holds an MBA in Business Economics and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Northern Arizona University. Fluent in Arabic and proficient in French, Maroun brings a diverse perspective to the evolving landscape of retail technology.
